Kick off Thanksgiving morning in the Coachella Valley with the Palm Springs Wild Turkey Trot 5K through iconic downtown Palm Springs. The USATF-certified, out-and-back route runs down scenic Palm Canyon Drive with sweeping vistas of the towering San Jacinto Mountains. The race is notoriously fun and welcoming to runners, walkers, strollers, and even family dogs on leashes. Participants receive custom long-sleeve tech shirts, finisher medals, zany turkey beanies, and holiday knee-high socks, with race proceeds benefiting local charities including the Mizell Center's Meals on Wheels and Guide Dogs of the Desert.
