Duluth kicks off the holiday season downtown on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 2 to 7 p.m. The city's Deck the Hall festival brings live entertainment, crafts for kids, a real-snow playground with a snow slide, photo opportunities with Santa, a holiday market and holiday light installations. It suits families with toddlers through tweens; plan an afternoon visit for snow play in daylight and stay into the evening for the lights. Bring gloves for the snow area.
