On November 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., children and their grown-ups sit down together to make their own ornament to take home, with festive music playing and holiday themes to spark ideas. Cookies and hot cocoa are part of the morning, so it suits younger children who like a snack break between projects. Because the craft supplies are planned around a head count, the museum requires registration in advance through its online ticketing page; the event page does not list a separate fee, so check the registration page for any cost. Families can pair the craft with a look around the museum's Western art galleries on Museum Drive in downtown Cartersville. ## Similar picks in Atlanta - [Holiday Family Open Studio — Booth Western Art Museum (Nov 24)](https://grassyknees.com/atlanta/activities/holiday-family-open-studio-booth-western-art-museum-nov-24--listing-4f41f8e20e00b9d90a2ee4a7) — Tue, Nov 24 · 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM · Booth Western Art Museum, Cartersville · All ages · With admission · checked Oct 24.
