A winter craft hour at the McDonough Public Library on Thursday, January 14, 2027, from 4 to 5 p.m. Children aged 5 to 12 paint an abominable snowman, also known as a yeti, using a fork as the brush, then add their own finishing touches. The program ties in with the Henry County libraries' cryptid-themed Winter Reading Challenge, whose yetis also appear in other branch events this winter. Materials are first come, first served, so arriving on time matters; no registration is listed.
