## About

On the second Thursday of each month, the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville drops its admission charge from 4 to 8 p.m. so local families can visit for free. In this window that means November 12 and December 10, 2026, and January 14, 2027. The evening hours suit families coming after school or work, and a free visit is a low-risk way to see whether children enjoy the museum's Western art before paying for a full day. The November 12 date also falls on the opening reception (5 to 7 p.m.) of the 23rd annual Kids Cowboy Up! exhibition, which shows artwork by children in the Cartersville Boys & Girls Club after-school program and stays up through January 3, 2027. No registration is mentioned; just arrive during the free hours.
