At Atlanta History Center's 19th-century Smith Farm, animal collections manager Brett Bannor introduces the farm's heritage-breed flock — Gulf Coast sheep Gulliver, Samson, Daisy and Maribelle and Angora goats Claud and Dorothy — and shows how agile they are as they hop onto a barrel and follow instructions for a peanut treat. Visitors learn about the animals' daily routines and personalities. Sessions are at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 16 and Friday, October 23, 2026. The program is included with admission: add general admission tickets to your cart and you will be prompted to register; capacity is limited.
