Families can get photos with Santa, browse vendors and craft stalls, eat from local food trucks and warm up with complimentary hot cocoa. A highlight for children is the lantern parade: bring an LED-lit lantern from home, or make one at a lantern-making workshop from 4 to 5:30 p.m. (a paid add-on with materials included, booked in advance because space is limited), and enter the Best Lantern competition. Parking in Deck 1 is free for the event. ## Similar picks in Atlanta - [Alpharetta Tree Lighting — Season of Celebration 2026](https://grassyknees.com/atlanta/activities/alpharetta-tree-lighting-season-of-celebration-2026--listing-49acbeb024c1e62762039aa9) — Sat, Nov 21 · 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM · Alpharetta City Hall, Downtown Alpharetta · Free · checked Oct 16.
