Participating businesses mark their doors with a balloon and hand out free candy to kids from 6 to 9 p.m., so children in costume can walk from shop to shop along the street instead of going door to door in a neighborhood. Face painting, live music and special promotions add to the evening, and participating restaurants serve Halloween-themed food and drink specials, which makes it easy to turn the outing into dinner out. Look for the balloons to know which businesses are giving out candy. The City of Tucker lists it on its community calendar alongside other Halloween-weekend events, including a church trunk-or-treat on Brockett Road earlier the same evening. ## Similar picks coming up in Atlanta - [Movie on the Green: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie — Tucker](https://grassyknees.com/atlanta/activities/movie-on-the-green-the-super-mario-galaxy-movie-tucker--listing-5d7ed5d2e2f12b17e47f2d9b) — Fri, Nov 6 · 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM · Tucker Town Green · Free · checked Oct 27.
