## About

During Thanksgiving week, when many Georgia schools are out, the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville opens a drop-in art studio for visitors of every age. On Tuesday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., children and adults can stop by and spend as long as they like making art together, with no registration needed. The studio is included with regular museum admission rather than ticketed separately, so it works well as part of a longer visit to the galleries. Adults must stay with their children the whole time. Because it is open all day and unstructured, it suits mixed-age families and short attention spans: younger children can do a quick project while older ones take their time. The museum's main admission desk handles entry; check the museum's website for current admission prices before you go.
