## About

The Austin Trail of Lights Fun Run lets families walk, jog or run an untimed course of almost 2 miles that starts at the Zilker Holiday Tree, follows Barton Springs Road and then winds through the Trail of Lights displays before the trail opens for its season. The start is a rolling start through the early evening, with a separate Runners' chute for faster runners. Registration includes a long-sleeve Fun Run shirt, a race bib, a cocoa (or beer for 21+), free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the North Pole area with Santa's Workshop, letters to Santa and the H-E-B Read3 Train, and the Finish Line Festival with a DJ dance party, costume contest, expo booths, food trucks and Ferris wheel and carousel rides (ride tickets extra). Children with feet on the ground need a Youth registration; toddlers and infants in strollers ride along free. Packet pickup runs December 3–5, and parking passes must be bought online beforehand.
