During winter break, Youth Services Specialist Sunny Reed sets up gingerbread-house making in the children's room of the Lake Travis Community Library's West branch in Spicewood. It is a come-and-go craft, so families can drop in any time during the hour (1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21) and build a house together. No registration is required. It suits preschool and elementary-age children with a grown-up helping; expect sticky fingers and bring a box or plate to carry the finished house home.
