The Farm Street Opry Band and special guests play Christmas classics and country favorites, and the audience is encouraged to sing along. Doors open well before the show so families can arrive early for food, fellowship and festive activities, and Santa Claus makes a special appearance during the evening. It is a relaxed, small-town night out that works for grandparents, parents and children together, especially kids who enjoy live music and want a chance to see Santa. The convention center has free on-site parking. ## Similar picks in Austin - [Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol (national tour)](https://grassyknees.com/austin/activities/dolly-parton-s-smoky-mountain-christmas-carol-national-tour--listing-76645e26ad89586803ff2a23) — Fri, Nov 27 · 5:00 PM · Bass Concert Hall (Texas Performing Arts, UT Austin) · Paid · checked Oct 20.
