Participants learn the basics of origami and fold paper into plants and animals, choosing from several patterns that range from easy to advanced, so a first-timer and a practised folder can both find a challenge. All supplies are provided; just dress for the weather and bring water, since the class is held outdoors. It is recommended for ages 6 and up and runs an hour on a Saturday afternoon, an easy add-on to a hike or picnic in the park. No registration is needed. ## Similar picks in Austin - [Edible Plants Walk at Lockhart State Park](https://grassyknees.com/austin/activities/edible-plants-walk-at-lockhart-state-park--listing-4760489b82d5b51797f5dd0c) — Sat, Nov 21 · 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM · Lockhart State Park · All ages · With admission · checked Oct 20.
