Ms. Crystal leads a gentle session of songs and a story, followed by hands-on, sensory-friendly activities, and the library uses a low-sensory room setup and supportive tools so that every child can take part at their own comfort level. The library describes it as a good fit for kids who benefit from hands-on play and a relaxed atmosphere, and it is open to all ages, so siblings and caregivers can join in. It is one of several weekly storytimes at the library, alongside Baby Bookworms, Little Learners, Bebe Bilingue and the family Peque y Yo session, and families can stay afterwards to browse and check out books. Questions about accommodations can go to the library by phone or email before a first visit. ## Similar picks in Austin - [Sensory-Friendly Holiday Party with Sensory Sensitive Santa — Autism Society of Texas, Austin](https://grassyknees.com/austin/activities/sensory-friendly-holiday-party-with-sensory-sensitive-santa-autism-soc--listing-6d14a485188abc11e747da31) — Sat, Nov 14 · 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM · Rosedale School · All ages · With admission · sensory-friendly · adaptive · checked Oct 27.
