Traveling yo-yo performer and designer Coffin Nachtmahr leads an interactive workshop on the basics of performing yo-yo at the Hereford branch in northern Baltimore County. He teaches the history and physics of the yo-yo, shares how he got into yo-yoing and what it has done for him, and gives participants yo-yos to practice basic techniques. The 90-minute Saturday afternoon program is listed for early elementary (6–8) and late elementary (9–11) children. Space is limited and is first come, first served, so arrive early.
