Reenactors from the Appins Regiment set up at Historic London Town & Gardens in Edgewater for a full day of living history on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Visitors learn how Scottish migration, particularly after the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, and Scottish immigrants shaped colonial Maryland. It runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is included with regular admission, so families can walk in; a Historic Walking Tour ticket also covers it. A relaxed holiday-weekend outing for school-age children interested in history, combined with the site's gardens and the 18th-century William Brown House.
