Along the way children gather leaves, compare the different kinds and learn how and why leaves change color. Back down, the group shares a story time with Lois Ehlert's picture book Leaf Man and then makes a leaf-inspired craft to take home. Designed for families with children 5 to 12. Expect paved paths plus dirt and wooded trails with an incline; wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle. Meet in front of the Nature Center. Registration is required; every participant, adult or child, pays the same fee. ## Similar picks in Boston - [Fall Fun at Powisset Farm](https://grassyknees.com/boston/activities/fall-fun-at-powisset-farm--listing-183c009182f772698658702e) — Sat, Oct 24 · 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM · Powisset Farm, Dover · From $15 · checked Oct 13.
