## About

Wenham Museum marks Veterans Day with a hands-on family day running from morning into early afternoon. The centerpiece is a Touch-a-Truck with military-style vehicles: children can get up close to a crane truck and a model replica of a Sherman tank. Inside, families can do hands-on crafts, gather for a special storytime, and try history activities meant for visitors of all ages, with the day framed around learning about and honoring veterans' service. Veterans Day is a school holiday in Massachusetts, so this works as a drop-in outing for preschoolers and grade-schoolers on a day off; families can combine it with the museum's dollhouse, toy and model-train galleries. The program is included with regular museum admission rather than ticketed separately.
