Wellesley's Thanksgiving-morning 5K starts and finishes at Linden Square on Linden Street and passes through the Wellesley College campus and the Boston Marathon 'scream tunnel' stretch of Central Street. Children 10 and under can run the Hannah Randolph Kids Fun Run, up to one mile, which starts at 8:45 am at the back of the parking lot near CVS, after the 8:00 am 5K start. Each child gets a T-shirt and a chocolate turkey lollipop; parents of very young children can run alongside without registering. The kids' run is capped at 300 participants, and children over 10 must register for the 5K instead. Families can also enter the 5K as a 'fastest family team' (at least three related runners). There is no race-day number pickup: collect bibs at Marathon Sports Wellesley Saturday through Tuesday (2-6 pm) or Wednesday (2-5 pm) of race week. Parking is on Linden Street.
