In December the club uses origami folding techniques to make and decorate three-dimensional gingerbread houses. All materials are provided. Participants must be students in grades K-5, and the library asks families to arrive 15 minutes early to check in at the Children's Desk. The listing uses library registration with a cap of 25. The session runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, at the branch on Rea Road in south Charlotte. ## Similar picks in Charlotte - [ChristmasVille Gingerbread House Contest](https://grassyknees.com/charlotte/activities/christmasville-gingerbread-house-contest--listing-5726382eb30796e318d40c8f) — Nov 1 – Dec 2 · Center for the Arts, Rock Hill · All ages · From $10 · checked Oct 14.
