## About

The evening after the Denver Christmas Parade, the community gathers at Lake Norman Lutheran Church on Business Highway 16 for the town's tree lighting with Santa on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 4:45 p.m. Children can meet Santa, tell him their Christmas wishes and have a photo taken with him before he lights the tree with thousands of twinkling lights. The church serves seasonal treats and warm drinks, and local children's choirs and the East Lincoln Community Chorus lead favorite carols. It is a free, family-friendly outdoor event, so dress warmly and bring little ones in time for Santa before the lighting.
