Staff from ImaginOn's Spangler Library lead half an hour of stories, songs and activities planned for kids who find a regular storytime overwhelming, and parents and caregivers take part alongside their children rather than watching from the side. Children up to age 11 are welcome, so school-age kids and older siblings can come too. No registration is needed, but the library limits the room to 40 people so the session stays calm and uncrowded, which makes arriving a few minutes early a good idea. The dates on the library calendar this season are Monday November 2, Thursday November 19, Monday December 7 and Thursday December 17, each from 6:30 to 7 p.m. ## Similar picks in Charlotte - [Sensory Storytime — Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library](https://grassyknees.com/charlotte/activities/sensory-storytime-allegra-westbrooks-regional-library--listing-bffbb9b01867418fadbc3b24) — Last Tuesday of every month, 11–11:30am (October 27, November 24, December 29, 2026) · Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library · sensory-friendly · checked Oct 27.
