Beyond shopping, families will find live music, a festive photo station and firepits to warm up by, plus a donation-based gift-wrapping station. The on-site Greenway Canteen sells meals, snacks, s'mores kits and hot and cold drinks with event specials, so it is easy to make an afternoon of it and add a walk on the nearby Lake Haigler trails. Booths are outdoors on grass, so dress for the weather and choose sturdy shoes or a rugged stroller. ## Similar picks in Charlotte - [The Lighting of Birkdale Village (Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting)](https://grassyknees.com/charlotte/activities/the-lighting-of-birkdale-village-holiday-parade-and-tree-lighting--listing-aad46e21abce2bea66d1194d) — Sat, Nov 21 · 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM · Birkdale Village – The Plaza and Birkdale Commons Parkway, Huntersville · All ages · Free · checked Oct 24.
