Welcome 2027 a day early at Rock Run Rookery Preserve in Joliet on Wednesday, December 30, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Families make collage art and eco-friendly DIY party poppers, then gather around a bonfire to say goodbye to 2026; bring an old calendar to burn as a way of letting go of the year. S'mores supplies are provided. Free, all ages; children with a registered adult; register by December 29.
