After the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce's Downtown Trick-or-Treating Spooktacular on Tuesday, October 27, families can head to the historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown DeKalb for a free showing of the animated Halloween film Monster House (2006) at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm, no RSVP is needed and admission is free, so kids can come straight from trick-or-treating with their candy. The screening is sponsored by There's Fun in Store, and the theatre pitches it as the way to wrap up a spooktacular evening downtown.
