The story follows the orphan Oliver from the workhouse to London's pickpocket gang led by Fagin, the kindly Mr. Brownlow, and Nancy and Bill Sikes. Directed by Gayle Starr with music direction by Kale Brand and choreography by Cydney Moody. Three performances over two weekends: Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. A good first musical for school-age children, and fun for families with kids in theatre classes. ## Similar picks in Chicago - [A Christmas Carol — Oak Lawn Park District Community Theater](https://grassyknees.com/chicago/activities/a-christmas-carol-oak-lawn-park-district-community-theater--listing-516257dd5cf0cb43b21ece1f) — Fri, Nov 13 (+5 more dates) · 7:30 PM · Erica Heilmann Theatre (Oak View Center & Museum), Oak Lawn · Paid · checked Oct 20.
