90-minute family-friendly weekly public program at the Mount Lookout observatory: an astronomy presentation on things to see in the night sky, then a hands-on tour of the 1845 Mitchel telescope and telescope viewing (weather permitting). Reservations required; space limited. Note: the larger Herget building is closed for renovation until about Summer 2027; the Mitchel building remains open.
