The Harrison Branch Library marks 25 years at its New Haven Road building with an all-ages afternoon party on Saturday, October 24. From noon to 1 pm Harrison VOCE and the Harrison Center for the Arts perform. From 1 to 4 pm there are carnival-style games, crafts, giveaways, Harrison trivia and balloon twisting by Cincinnati Circus. Display cases show photos of the branch through the years, and visitors can leave a favourite library memory. Light refreshments are served while supplies last. No registration is listed, so families can come for part or all of the four hours. A good fit for young children (games, balloons) and for older kids interested in local history.
