A holiday kick-off pottery night for families at the Anderson Parks RecPlex. Participants choose from a selection of festive pieces and paint a seasonal pottery item; Ann Flynn, owner of Star Glazers, then takes the painted work back to her studio to glaze and fire it, and the finished pieces come back to the RecPlex for pick-up at a later date. All supplies are provided. The class is for ages 5 and up, and children under 13 must be accompanied by a registered adult. It runs Wednesday, November 18, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; register in advance, as space is limited. Cost is $25 per Anderson resident and $35 per non-resident.
