The Cincinnati Observatory joins the Cold Spring Branch's Stargazers Club for an evening star party open to families and all ages. Observatory staff give a talk about the local night sky, and if the sky is clear the group heads out to look through high-powered telescopes, an Orion SkyQuest XT6 Dobsonian along with the Observatory's own. The program runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; registration is required, and on October 20 the library calendar showed 9 of 25 places taken. Accommodation requests can be noted on the registration form.
