The Hyde Park Branch Library joins the neighbourhood's Trick-or-Treat on Hyde Park Square on Saturday, October 24. The morning opens with a special outdoor storytime on the Square at 10:30 am, and trick-or-treating at participating shops and businesses continues until 2 pm. Costumes are encouraged. Families can also stop into the library for book-themed treats and seasonal crafts. This is a daytime, not-so-scary Halloween outing aimed at babies, toddlers, preschoolers and young school-age children with their grown-ups.
