- Alexandria Community Church (with the Campbell County Public Library Book Bus)
Alexandria Community Church hosts a Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 6 to 7 p.m., with a bounce house, face painting and free Kona Ice alongside the candy. The Campbell County Public Library's Book Bus will be there too, letting each child choose a free book to take home. At one hour long and early in the evening, it suits families with younger children who want a short Halloween outing; the library lists it for families, grade-school children and all ages. The church is at 8286 W. Main Street in Alexandria. The listing does not mention a fee. Questions about the event go to Alexandria Community Church at 859-635-9727, and the church also posts details on Facebook.
