For families the highlight is the Hershey Children's Garden, opened in 1999 as one of the first children's gardens in the country: kids climb up to a treehouse overlooking the beds, look for frogs and other pond life (nets are handed out at set pond-dipping times), watch a live honeybee hive and hide among big, buzzing wildflower patches. The glasshouses add sensory play areas. Ask about the Museums for All $1 rate and the military discount. The on-site garage charges by the hour after the first 30 free minutes, and the free CircleLink shuttle stops by the Garden. ## Similar picks in Cleveland - [Bootanical Bash at Cleveland Botanical Garden](https://grassyknees.com/cleveland/activities/bootanical-bash-at-cleveland-botanical-garden--listing-98919751b6b0c2ad8352f086) — Sat, Oct 24 · 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM · Cleveland Botanical Garden · With admission · checked Oct 24.
