Visitors make a solstice-themed craft, hear music, drink hot beverages and eat treats, then walk the self-guided Solstice Traditions Trail, where costumed interpreters perform short skits about how different civilizations marked the longest night. Much of the program is outside, so the district asks families to dress for the weather and leave dogs at home. Shuttles run from the parking area and no registration is needed. ## Similar picks in Cleveland - [Midwinter Solstice Activity at Glenville Branch](https://grassyknees.com/cleveland/activities/midwinter-solstice-activity-at-glenville-branch--listing-9a3ba041fba671338b4fb0c3) — Mon, Dec 21 · 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM · Cleveland Public Library Glenville Branch (Community Space 1A) · All ages · Free · checked Oct 27.
