The class covers the history and cultural meaning of the craft before the wax-and-dye work starts. An open candle flame is part of the method, so the conservatory says the class is recommended only for students over 10 and that staff will take safety precautions. All supplies are included in the class fee. Nicole Tabit, the adult program manager, is the contact named on the page. The fee is lower for conservatory members than for the general public. Admission to the conservatory galleries is not described as included or excluded on this class page. ## Similar picks in Columbus - [Open Studio Glass Fusing at The Works: Holiday Ornaments and Gingerbread Houses](https://grassyknees.com/columbus/activities/open-studio-glass-fusing-at-the-works-holiday-ornaments-and-gingerbrea--listing-66169c12c4e18a5a734c87f2) — Select Saturdays, 12-3 p.m.; monthly featured projects (Nov: Holiday Ornament; Dec… · The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology, Newark · From $25 · checked Oct 28.
