Families bring non-perishable food, hygiene items or cleaning supplies (online donations are also taken), and the Grinch and friends meet visitors in a pop-up 'Whoville' where kids can help unload the donations. While there, families can shop the Wholiday Market of vendors, sing along to holiday tunes and enter a free raffle for one of ten prizes. It is a good way to show children a hands-on way of giving during the holidays, and the four-hour morning-to-afternoon window makes it easy to fit around naps. The park says the event is run by an outside organizer, so questions go to the host. ## Similar picks in Dallas–Fort Worth - [The Clearfork Holiday Market with Santa — Fort Worth](https://grassyknees.com/dallas-fort-worth/activities/the-clearfork-holiday-market-with-santa-fort-worth--listing-f265e78807e2fd82720631a6) — Sat, Dec 5 · 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM · The Shops at Clearfork — Plaza and Lawn · All ages · Free · checked Oct 27.
