Each decorator gets an authentic Swiss Lebkuchen gingerbread house, plenty of royal icing and a spread of candies and edible decorations; instructors show how to make royal icing, fill a pastry bag and use different piping techniques, then everyone decorates their own house. A box is provided to carry the finished house home, and seasonal non-alcoholic drinks are served. Tickets are per person: an adult decorating ticket, a child decorating ticket (17 and under, must come with an adult who also has a ticket), or an adult chaperone-only ticket without a house. Observers cannot stay in the room because space is limited, and everyone signs a waiver at check-in. Sessions run about 90 minutes. ## Similar picks in Dallas–Fort Worth - [Family Holiday Gingerbread House Workshop](https://grassyknees.com/dallas-fort-worth/activities/family-holiday-gingerbread-house-workshop--listing-6502b7d300ddba863ea2d667) — Sat, Dec 5 · 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM · Dallas Arboretum — A Tasteful Place · From $79 · checked Oct 11.
