Bring a camera and snap a festive family picture with Santa beside the car, then wander the museum's huge indoor collection of more than 200 classic and exotic cars plus vintage toys, which is a good fit for car-mad kids on a cold or rainy December day. The museum is running a holiday toy drive, so families are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to donate. Admission to the museum is always free, the building is fully indoors and climate-controlled, and dogs are welcome. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the museum asks visitors to check its calendar before visiting because it can close for private events. ## Similar picks in Dallas–Fort Worth - [Santa Day at the Frontiers of Flight Museum](https://grassyknees.com/dallas-fort-worth/activities/santa-day-at-the-frontiers-of-flight-museum--listing-8b5b7a25ee25bd60cdd0ee53) — Sat, Dec 12 · 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM · Frontiers of Flight Museum · With admission · checked Oct 28.
