Through his invented research, he shows how modern orchestral instruments might have evolved from giant dinosaur-like beasts, with on-stage action and plenty of orchestral color — a light-hearted first symphony concert for elementary-age children. Before the 11 a.m. performance, kids can try instruments at an instrument petting zoo and draw at a coloring station in the hall. Conductor Harris Han leads the orchestra with narrator Ash Vance. ## Similar picks in Dallas–Fort Worth - [Oz with Orchestra: The Wizard of Oz in Concert — Fort Worth Symphony](https://grassyknees.com/dallas-fort-worth/activities/oz-with-orchestra-the-wizard-of-oz-in-concert-fort-worth-symphony--listing-e7be32a65b36499eb38166a8) — Fri, Nov 13 (+1 more date) · 7:30 PM · Bass Performance Hall · Paid · checked Oct 24.
