Explore the shapes, lines and movement of late-season plants through expressive ink drawing, taking a closer look at how they continue to support wildlife as the growing season comes to an end. The program takes place both indoors at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center and outdoors near the building. Bring your own sketchbook, a pencil, a fine-point waterproof felt-tipped pen, a watercolor or colored pencil set, water and a snack, a bag for supplies, clothing layers for chilly autumn temperatures, and a lightweight camp chair or stool for journaling outside; art materials other than a sketchbook are available to borrow. All ages: instruction is geared for adults, but children interested in art are welcome with an adult. Free, registration required.
