Hike up Star View Trail to enjoy an open house and night sky viewing at the historic Pine Valley Observatory, led by Jefferson County Parks & Open Space. Park in the upper parking lot and come prepared for a short hike (0.6 miles round trip; steep, uneven terrain). Wear layers and bring a flashlight or headlamp and water. The historic telescope is not wheelchair accessible. Please leave pets at home. Access to the park after hours is for the observatory program only; visitors are not permitted to visit the lake, shelters or the rest of the trail system. Free, registration required through CivicRec.
