It is a short, family-sized retelling in an intimate playhouse rather than a full ballet, which makes it a gentler first Nutcracker for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Saturday performances are at 10 a.m. and noon, and the run continues through the week after Christmas; reserve tickets in advance. ## Similar picks in Denver - [Colorado Ballet: The Nutcracker](https://grassyknees.com/denver/activities/colorado-ballet-the-nutcracker--listing-c5f8cda5026d2b63080ecd51) — Sat, Nov 28 (+20 more dates) · Ellie Caulkins Opera House (Denver Performing Arts Complex) · From $40 · checked Oct 14.
