Daughters come with their dad, grandpa, uncle or another special father figure for two hours of music from a live DJ, dancing, carnival games, circus-themed treats and professional photos. Dress attire is encouraged, so this is a chance for kids to dress up for a first dance with a grown-up they love. The ticket covers admission, activities, treats, photos and staff supervision, and the city shares additional details shortly before the dance. Eligibility is ages 3 and up. Registration is through the city's WebTrac site and closes November 6; the fee is $19 for residents and $24 for non-residents. An evening session (6:00–8:30 pm) runs the same day for families who prefer a later start. ## Similar picks in Detroit - [Babysitting Safety Class (Ages 11-16) — Sterling Heights](https://grassyknees.com/detroit/activities/babysitting-safety-class-ages-11-16-sterling-heights--listing-a2103340023a11b6514cae02) — Tue, Nov 10 (+1 more date) · 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM · Sterling Heights Community Center · Ages 11–16 · From $34 · checked Oct 24.
