Guests board a horse-drawn wagon at the village gates between 4:30 and 5 p.m. and ride along lantern-lit streets to A Taste of History restaurant, where a one-hour holiday buffet is served from 5 to 6 p.m. Santa visits the tables, there is live music, and each child receives a themed craft bag to take home. The buffet includes kid staples such as chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese alongside carved turkey and ham, sides and Christmas cookies; vegan and gluten-free meals can be requested when booking, and every seat for a child 4 and under comes with a high chair. On December 26–28 the program is adjusted for a playful post-Christmas visit before Santa leaves on vacation. Every ticket includes admission to Holiday Nights, so families can stay to walk the decorated village afterwards.
