Guests sit down to lunch with treats from the Land of Sweets, then Clara tells the story of her magical journey in a storytime. Children make a festive craft to take home and meet characters from the ballet, with time set aside for photos and autographs with Clara and her friends. It works as a stand-alone holiday outing or as a lead-in to seeing the full ballet, and it suits preschool and elementary-age children who love dress-up and fairy tales. Tickets are $48 per person and are sold through the Macomb Center box office; the seating time is picked on the ticketing page. Book early, since teas like this are small compared with the main-stage performances. ## Similar picks in Detroit - [The Nutcracker by Michigan Ballet Company (Macomb Center)](https://grassyknees.com/detroit/activities/the-nutcracker-by-michigan-ballet-company-macomb-center--listing-f58ed90e96eb9ed362f0f938) — Fri, Dec 18 (+2 more dates) · Macomb Center for the Performing Arts (Main Stage), Clinton Township · From $30 · checked Oct 13.
