Between 2 and 6 PM children can make Day of the Dead crafts such as sugar skulls while a mariachi band plays, folklórico dancers perform and an airbrush artist decorates faces; a sugar-skull stilt walker roams from 4:30, there is a Day of the Dead costume contest from 6:15 to 6:45 PM, and fire spinners and live music by Los Hermanos Lara carry the party into the night.
