On the Fridays in the same stretch (Dec. 4, 11 and 18) the Boardwalk also shows Christmas movies in the plaza, so families can bring a blanket, wear a cozy sweater and watch outdoors by the water. Walking the Boardwalk itself costs nothing, while rides, the train and food are paid separately; it is an easy outing for toddlers through tweens that can last an hour or a full evening. Bring the toy-drive donation if you want to take part. ## Similar picks in Houston - [Selfies with Santa — Bellaire Civic Center](https://grassyknees.com/houston/activities/selfies-with-santa-bellaire-civic-center--listing-5901bbd260f99189f37b3b3e) — Wed, Dec 2 · 4:30 PM · Bellaire Civic Center · checked Oct 30.
