## About

Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre's Nutcracker is the Clear Lake area's long-running holiday ballet, staged at the Bayou Theater on the University of Houston–Clear Lake campus. The classic story brings toy soldiers, dancing snowflakes and the Land of Sweets to the stage across three December weekends, with Friday and Saturday evening shows, Saturday and Sunday matinees and an extra Thursday evening in the final week, giving families in League City, Webster, Friendswood and Pasadena plenty of choice. Matinees are the easier pick for preschoolers. Tickets are sold through the company's ThunderTix box office; the company also offers discounted school performances, which are separate from these public shows.
