Dickens's story of Scrooge's journey to redemption is told with carols and on-stage falling snow, and many Indianapolis families make it a yearly tradition. The show runs about 2 hours 5 minutes including a 20-minute intermission. IRT recommends it for 3rd grade and up and warns it has mild profanity, ghosts and effects that may frighten young children; a free study guide helps prepare kids. Special performances include a Sensory Friendly show and Girl Scout Day on Saturday, Nov. 14 (scouts make a Victorian ornament, meet actors and earn a patch), artist talk-backs after the 2 p.m. shows on Nov. 14 and Dec. 5, and ASL and audio-described performances such as Sunday, Dec. 6. The lobby opens an hour before curtain. ## Similar picks in Indianapolis - [Holiday Ornament Workshop at McCloud Nature Park](https://grassyknees.com/indianapolis/activities/holiday-ornament-workshop-at-mccloud-nature-park--listing-e9229cc0f9005b9d2dc6b5c6) — Fri, Nov 20 · 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM · McCloud Nature Park, North Salem · All ages · From $15 · checked Oct 24.
