This session features artist-in-residence Susan Locke Charlesworth (Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma), an award-winning basket weaver who began weaving in 2005 to connect with her heritage; she shares her baskets and offers hands-on experiences that show students the creative process behind them. Families can come and go between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Members attend free; nonmember tickets are $5, and registration is through the museum's event page. ## Similar picks in Indianapolis - [Story and Studio Time at the Eiteljorg Museum](https://grassyknees.com/indianapolis/activities/story-and-studio-time-at-the-eiteljorg-museum--listing-75aaa9bbe859032d4535a446) — Monthly on Tuesdays, 10–11 am: Nov. 10, Dec. 8, 2026 and Jan. 12, 2027. · Eiteljorg Museum · Ages 3–6 · With admission · checked Oct 24.
